Southwest DivisionDallas, Houston, Memphis, New Orleans, San Antonio — Texas plus the Delta, and four titles nobody predicted

Black and silver with five trophies behind it. Red and white with back-to-backs from the nineties. Blue and silver with the upset of the century in 2011. This is a division of clubs that win quietly and then win again.

What this corner of the league is like

Six teams split by geography and then left alone to become rivals. This is the one that produced these five.

The Southwest is the least fashionable heavyweight division in the league. San Antonio built two decades of winning on a system, a coach and almost no publicity. Houston took back-to-back titles in the mid-nineties and has been chasing that feeling ever since. Dallas produced probably the most surprising championship of the modern era in 2011. Memphis built Grit and Grind on defence and sheer awkwardness, and New Orleans has been building patiently with navy, gold and Mardi Gras trim.

The jerseys follow suit. Nobody here redesigns for attention. Dallas has barely touched blue and silver; Memphis's colour scheme is deliberately drab in a way that fans defend aggressively; San Antonio's black and silver has been effectively unchanged since the nineties.

That makes this the best division in the league for buying something you will still like in ten years. Nothing here is going to date.

Whose name gets printed here

These are the names that actually move through this division's five clubs — ranked by what we genuinely carry rather than by reputation. The ones with a full player page are marked.

Swingman, Replica, or Custom?

Once you have picked the club, the build is the next decision. Here is what actually separates them, in plain terms.

Swingman The standard fan build

The fan jersey most people mean. Light mesh, stitched or heat-pressed lettering and numbers, and a cut that sits properly on the body without being tight. It is the right answer for roughly nine out of ten people, and it holds up to actual wear rather than hanging in a wardrobe.

Replica Lighter on the wallet

A simpler build — printed detailing rather than heavier applied lettering, and a lighter hand overall. If you want the look at the lowest entry point, this is where you start. It is not trying to be the on-court jersey.

Custom Your name, your number

Blank or pick-your-own — a name and a number of your choosing. It is the answer when the exact player is not in stock, when it is a gift for someone whose favourite never got a jersey, or when you simply want your own name across the back.

Player Edition Closest to on-court

Built to the specification the players actually wear. Heavier fabric, deeper detail, and a fit that is intentionally athletic rather than relaxed. Pick this if you care about the details people only notice up close.

05

Sizes and who they are for

Jerseys are cut to be worn over something else, which is why the tag size never quite matches a t-shirt.

Adult Standard sizes

The standard adult run. Jerseys are cut to be worn over a t-shirt, so the shoulder sits slightly wide by design — that is the silhouette, not a sizing error. If you want it fitted, size down; if you want the baggy look most people are after, stay true.

Women's Tapered cut

A narrower shoulder, a shorter body and a waist that actually tapers. Same design, drawn for a different frame rather than simply scaled down.

Youth For younger fans

Sized for kids and cut a little more forgivingly, because it is going to be worn hard. Worth checking the size guide against a favourite t-shirt rather than guessing from age.

Big & Tall Extra length

Added length and width for taller or broader frames. Same jersey, more room, without the shoulders drifting halfway down the arm.

Common questions

Which Southwest jerseys hold their look best?
Almost all of them. If you want a design that will not feel dated, pick anything from San Antonio, Dallas or Memphis and stop worrying about it.
Does every Southwest club have stock?
Yes — five live collections. The teams marked Dossier below have full pages underneath with the franchise record and the season breakdown.
Can I get my own name on a Southwest Division jersey?
Yes. The Custom collection covers blank and pick-your-own builds — useful when the player you want is not stocked under his own name, or when you just want your own.
Do you stock every club in every division?
All thirty franchises are live, in all six divisions. The depth differs club to club — the ones with the widest range are the ones with a dossier page underneath.
