NBA 2026-27 New Season Jerseys: Teams & Players
Opening night is 20 October. Before it gets here, the league has to be explained twice over: a city ended a fifty-three-year wait in June, and a rookie class walked in ten days later and took over half its teams. Both halves are on this page — and both are on the floor when the season tips off.
01From June to October
The league resets twice this year. Once in June, when a 53-year wait ended and the draft sent thirty players to new cities. And again on 20 October, when the 2026–27 season tips off and all of it has to be proven again.
A normal summer is quiet: last year’s jerseys get re-cut, the shops fill up again, nothing much happens on the floor. This one was not quiet. A city that had waited fifty-three years finally got its parade, and then a rookie class walked in and changed what half the league looks like.
That matters if you are buying, because the two halves of the story produce two completely different jerseys. A championship run leaves behind a small, dated set of pieces that stop being made once the celebrations end. A rookie class leaves behind a set that is brand new, often in thin numbers, and tied to somebody nobody owns a jersey of yet. Both are on this page, sorted by which part of the story they come from — and both will be on the floor when the season opens.

The 2025–26 season ended the way nobody had it written down. Four points are enough to cover it.
- Game 4 · 11 June
Down 29, won 107–106 with 1.2 seconds left
The largest comeback in Finals history. New York had been out of the game by the middle of the third quarter, then closed it on a tip-in in the last two seconds. A series that finished 4–1 turned on this night.
- Game 5 · 13 June
Won 94–90 in San Antonio to close it out
The clincher came on the road. Jalen Brunson scored 45 — a Knicks record for a Finals game — and took Finals MVP.
- The wait
First title in 53 years, third in franchise history
New York had not won it since 1973. The gap was long enough that most of the people watching had never seen one, and the two before it came in 1970 and 1973.
- The aftermath
The most-watched Finals in 28 years
The series averaged 20.6 million viewers, the highest for a Finals since the 1990s, with the clincher peaking around 33 million. Merchandise records followed inside the first 24 hours.
04The 2026 draft class
Ten days after the Finals, thirty players got new teams. Thirteen of them are in stock — and every one of them debuts this season.
The draft ran at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on 23 June. Washington took AJ Dybantsa first overall, Utah followed with Darryn Peterson, and Memphis took Cameron Boozer third. By the end of the first round, thirty players had new addresses — and thirteen of them are now on this site in their new colours.

What you get instead is the first jersey a player ever wears in the league — and unlike the championship pieces, this one is about to start rather than about to stop. Thirteen of the thirty first-round picks are in stock, spread across thirteen different teams, and they are listed above in the order they were taken.

Every card below is a real piece in stock, priced as it sits in the shop. The Knicks and Spurs entries are the two rosters from June — the same cuts and patches the series was played in. The rest are the 2026 rookie class in their new colours, and every one of them lines up for the first time on 20 October.

06The new season starts 20 October
Opening night is Tuesday 20 October 2026. From there the calendar runs straight through Christmas, the Cup and the trade deadline to an 11 April finish.
The 2026–27 regular season opens with a triple-header: Boston at Detroit, Philadelphia at New York, and San Antonio at Oklahoma City. The middle game is the one most people will watch — it is the Knicks’ home opener, and the first time the new banner is in the building. The 81st regular season then runs until 11 April, with the playoffs starting on 18 April.

- If you want a jersey before opening night, order now rather than in October — custom printing adds 3–21 business days before dispatch.
- Cup nights fall on most Fridays from 30 October. If you follow a specific team, that is the stretch where its alternate set shows up most.
- City and statement editions are worn for one season and then retired, so the 2026–27 versions are dated the moment they land.
- Trade deadline is 11 February. If a player moves, the jersey you can buy changes with him.
How to pick between them
how-to-pick
The question is not which jersey is better. It is which kind of jersey you are actually buying, and whether the clock on it is running out or about to start.
Dated by the run and stopped once it is over. Buy it for the moment, and expect the size you want to disappear first.
The first version a player wears in the league — and the only one on this page that has a debut still ahead of it.
The association whites and icon colours that come back every year. Safe to wait on, and the easiest to fit if you are between sizes.
Worn for a single season and then retired. If a design lands for you, that is usually your only window.
- Not sure on size? The chest measurement is the one that decides it — see the sizing guide.
- Between two sizes on a fan-cut jersey, go up.
- Custom-printed jerseys cannot be resized, so read the chart before you commit.
07Where to start
Everything from both halves of the story sits in one collection, so you can filter it down by club rather than scrolling the entire store. Three ways in, depending on how wide you want to go.
Every new arrival in one place — championship pieces and rookie jerseys together.
Thirty club collections, each with its own colourways and current stock.
Icon, association, statement, city and hardwood classics — the same cut, different colourways.
